I gratefully acknowledge that I live, learn and create on stolen Ktunaxa and Sinixt territory. I support the work of reconciliation as a settler ally, in the spirit of cooperation and deep listening to those whose wisdom and stewardship lives on in the centuries since colonization.
I encourage you to stay informed and connected as part of the social movement towards peace and justice: https://nctr.ca/
Why Tiny Island?
I have long had a love affair with islands*: in story and myth, in art, and in our own imaginations, islands as a metaphor and as a real, experienced place, bring up many associations that are potent for inner work. Do you love islands as much as I do? Or do they make you feel isolated or worried about survival?I invite you to check out my new program, The Living Edge, where we will explore metaphor and personal growth through the multifaceted lenses of story, landscape, seasons and archetypes. Art, somatic pratices and nature-based invitations combine to offer you an enriching gift of presence with your beautiful Self.
* my favourites so far are Ireland, the South Island of New Zealand, Cape Breton, and Saturna Island on the West Coast of Canada. I look forward to learning about yours!
